Is it just me or could hatton dominate the l.welterweight division again 2 me he has been beaten off the 2 elite fighters of his era and other than that he struggled aganst colazo at welterweight and lazcano due 2 poor prep/ overlooking opponent now if he got his head on he could beat devon alexander we know urango is beatable then do timothy bradley and finish it all with amir khan in manchester and if he want ago at the ring title he could go against pac man or who ever holds at time but why fight jmm he's no good at the weight and not much credability in beating him. Hatton has been a great servent to the sweet science and could bow out being light welterweight king does any1 thinks hes capable as i do

Hatton is what I would call an A- fighter , just shy of the absolute top fighters , could he win a title at 140 , simply yes , i would put him in with a Bradley type fighter , not a knock out artist , not overly quick , but does everything pretty well , against fighters like this Hatton does very well.

Not sure what Ricky has left but your right i think he can still beat these guys if his plums haven't inverted due to that Pacquiao KO

Its not just you, your from Manchester there are lots of Hattonite Mancs who think like you.

But tell me how much you have seen of Bradley and Alexander? They both have titles, are fast slick fighters in their prime and they'd both KO him late

I'd be surprised if he could even make 140.

 I like Hatton but I seriously doubt he could unify the 140 division now...Its stacked...He has to worry about Bradley and many other good fighters.

And to add to that...his chin has failed him now...He doesnt have the punch resistance he once had (if he ever had one)

First things first, he will not beat Timothy Bradley...nothing much else needs to be said.

He's beaten Urango before, but he was at his physical peak. Now that the chin has been dented in Im not too sure how he holds up against Urango....same for Maidana

Devon Alexander is one to watch out for, he's sliding along under the radar but he's a champion and hes hungry...a lot of people aren't aware of his amateur pedigree, well let me brief you a little bit he went 300-10 in the amateurs...thats almost unheard of for American fighters these days. I want to see more of him next year. He wanted to put up his WBC 140 against JMM, but Marquez turned it down....it should be interesting to see what moves he makes in 2010...but yeah needless to say I'd favor him over this Ricky Hatton

maybe I'm thinking to lowly of Hatton at the moment, but I guess he's got to prove himslef again

    Is definitely just you.

Bradley would kill him. Khan would outspeed him and probs force him into a late corner retirement. Urango would just need one punch to land on Hatton past it chin.

Devon Alexander is the only one I'd give Hatton a chance against, and even though he has the wrong style for Hatton, I'm not at all convinced about Alexander and believe he is the weakest champion at LWW.
