Is it just me, or did boxing on HBO really stink this weekend?

I fell asleep watching the fights. They were that bad. I woke up at the end of the Diaz fight when Paulie was yelling that Texas was B.S. or something like that.

they were ok, the Guerrero fight was very decent and so was the Paulie vs. Juan fight

Ishe kinda exposed Jacobs a little so that was meaningful as well

i enjoyed them, jacobs showed he can do more than counterpunch and that he does have heart, needs to learn to guard against the left hook though. Guerrero showed he's in great shape 100 punches a round for 12 pretty impressive. malignaggi vs diaz action packed but a robbery of a decision not a bad golden boy promoted fightcard.

I thought they were decent, not great. The card seemed like it'd be better on paper though, but that's boxing. You can never tell. They did a good job putting it together though. Not HBO's fault that one particular judge should be sentenced to hearing Paulie squeal until they go deaf or that the style match-ups didn't produce sparks and stoppages.

I thought the card was pretty good and entertaining.

Are you a casual fight fan? Or are you just excited about KO's and Slugfests?

The card was good on paper and the fights turned out to be ok. I wasn't bored but I would have liked a to see some knockdowns, knockouts, etc.

Nah, I watch almost every fight I can. I think I know what it was though. No crowd noise. Did anyone else notice how mute the crowd was? And thinking back, the Guerrero fight was a good one. The ghost proved that he still has it with a very masterful display of offense and defense. That was a good fight. The Diaz fight however just sort of turned me off. I guess because after seeing Paulie get beat up by Cotto and Diaz ko'd by JMM, I really couldn't get too excited about these guys. Maybe it was just Paulie's trunks coupled with that voice. I don't know...

I definitely noticed. Both Jacobs-Smith and Guerrero-Klassen were very good fights and the crowd barely seemed interested until the main event. They even had the nerve to boo during Guerrero-Klassen. :-(

I found the second fight to be dull, but the other two were good.

The card was good. The 2nd fight was eh, but the 1st and 3rd were very good.
