Is it just me, or did Pac look like he lost a step on purpose to entice Floyd?

Cause I feel a bit like Pac held back, and looked like he was missing something on purpose.

Then Pac mentioned his leg issue, that he's been having also.

I honestly feel like this was to entice Floyd into thinking Pac is starting to show he's shopworn.

    Thoughts?

I think there is a chance of that, but also that he did take a little easy on shane just like the Barrera II fight, when I first thought he might be on the decline.

could be an off night, real cramp issues, not feeling like doing more than he needed to to win, and the incentive to not look unbeatable to get Floyd in the ring while still winning easily.

however, its only a matter of time until he really does lose his speed if he didn't already, thats why if the fight with floyd doesn't happen he should walk away from this sport on top.

You guys do know the reason Marquez troubled him so much was because he used movement around the ring? Shane did the same thing. manny can't cut off the ring, and it showed in this fight.

if he wanted to entice floyd he would have not been so adverse to calling him out after the fight...the typical 'i fight who my promoter chooses' line.

didn't you realized that pac has never called anyone out? and why would he call floyd out when they knew that if they did, floyd would say that pac's camp wanted him more and would probably demand much more than the $100M he is demanding right now? calling out is overated, when did floyd called out pac? at least pac is saying the he will fight anyone including floyd. meanwhile floyd is saying he is on vacation, has no urge to fight and insisting on a demand that pac had already agreed.

now that pac has seemed slowed down, will floyd now has the urge to fight him seeing it now as an easier fight? i hope so.

Before the fight I thought he might, I even suggested it, it's not like he put a lot of effort in to win the fight(even though he pissed it) but I know he could have done way better.

I agree. I mean, obviously we can't know for sure, and only speculate.

But I truly do feel Pac, or someone in his team, wanted Pac to emphasize having problems lately to see if Floyd felt it was time to take advantage.

I too hope that if Floyd vs Manny doesn't come off, Pac has one or two more fights, and walks away

I would have to dissagree. Marquez, Hoya, and Mosley were all coming off of devastating KO wins when they fought Mayweather. I don't think 1 good or bad performance is going to affect whether or not Mayweather will fight someone. Pacquaio simply didn't look as devastating facing a guy who wasn't interested in standing there and being his punching bag.

I dont think so, shane was just moving, so pac couldnt unload hes usual 1000-1200 combo punches against em slow stationary opponents.

I believe he keeps saying he was cramping because the fans were booing, so it was an excuse, because he couldnt give the fans what they wanted. When he was pushed down, he seemed ok to me.

that is only a hunch since floyd has had only problem/issues fighting pacquiao and it stemmed from the fact that his father and his camp has been advising him not to get it on with the version of pac that stopped hatton and cotto in brutal fashion. maybe if they saw that pac is slipping down or at least realized that someone who would not engage would trouble pacquiao, they would think that this fight is now safe to take for floyd.

I couldn't dissagree with you more. This fight was pretty much a done deal after Pacquiao beat up on Cotto. Then the whole testing issue came up and it fell a part. Again, we've seen Floyd fight plenty oof guys recently coming off of impressive perfomances. Ironically, the opposite has been true for Pacquiao. He's faught a string of guys coming off of supar perfomances.
