Is it just me, or did Pac look like he lost a step on purpose to entice Floyd?

You are a cool cat, and I like you (No Homo), but my thoughts are this is ******ed. No disrespect at all, but I simply disagree.

He might have done that at times. Pacquiao is much smarter than given credit, I have no doubt. Surely he knew he could have busted up Shane if he had really pressed it (see 10th round after "knock down"). Pacquiao left a lot in reserve.

In all seriousness, if Manny wanted a fight with PBF as opposed to the theatrics and super secret master plans wouldn't it have been easier to just say so? Something to the effect of "I want to fight Floyd Mayweather, I will gladly take whatever drug tests the USADA would ask of me...I don't care to fight anyone else, I don't care what my promoter thinks, I don't care what anyone else wants. Floyd if you can hear me..."I want to fight you and I want to fight you next, I will take the tests. Hope to see you in six months. Your move!". Simple as that...

No, he was legitimately confounded by Sugar Shane Mora's spoiling.

Damn that Latin Snake. You fight him, and you wind up fighting like him.

Watch for Bryan Vera to exhibit a horrible style in his rematch with Lee (or whatever his next fight is).

Seriously, Pacquiao didn't know what to do. I've never seen someone so confused while pitching a near shutout.

If Mosley was able to confuse him that badly, just think what someone who's ten times the boxer would be able to do...:think

Floyd would backpedal and potshot, yes. The difference is he'd be pulling the trigger more than Shane, throwing faster shots than Shane, and landing more accurately too.

For $50 million, I am sure there is careful planning involved in enticing Floyd to fight Pac.

I bet you, Pac even hired a team of highly paid strategists what the plot looks like.

don't know about enticing Floyd but I felt pac was definitely holding back, maybe he didn't want to beat Shane up. His usual "buzzing style" was not there at all except for round three and a few flashes here and there,

Shane being a very nice person, I thought it was more on Pac giving Shane a nice retirement package and a sense of pride exiting the sport.

Haha, thanks man, and no disrespect taken.

That's why we post here, to see other people's thoughts on boxing.

And this was simply something that popped in my head and I figured I'd ask ESB.

Thanks for being able to disagree without trolling, it's a breath of fresh air for me at ESB

    Well said man.

And especially the bold would describe why I'm feeling awkward about Pac's performance against Shane. He deff was confused as to what to do, but was still dominating, you don't see that too often.
