if anything it seems as if he wanted to be more powerful vs Shane than speedy. he was 100% dying to go toe to toe with Shane which is why he trained so hard. I think he surprised Shane with his power and was waiting for Shane to go toe to toe as advertised. the power and Manny waiting standing right in front to bait Shane in scared the hell out of him and made Mosley stay back accepting defeat. part of the puzzle is the number of baits Manny is willing to use seems like he can improvise them better than any fighter.
