Is it just me or has Wlad lost some punching power?

He hit Thompson flush several times and didn't appear to budge him.

No , i just think the type of opponents that he once faced were taylor made for those classic short left hooks and Huge straight right hands.

But recent opponents , you just can't play around with .. Ibragimov and Thompson are strong solid unknown quantities that Wlad felt more comfortable with , keeping them at the end of a rope until they were demoralised enough to be beat down late.. Sultan not such a man, but Thompson definitely.. Klitschko still knows hiw to lower the boom when he really wants to..

His recent mentality has been to stick to strict defencive mode until cracks appear......... Its not that pretty to watch at times, but it works for him.. He is still champ.. PS.. Thompson did a lot better than many gave him credit for..:good

Thompson was too ****ing slow and I think he respected Ibragimov's background (old solviet school of boxing) rather than his actual abilities.

Thompson didn't hit hard either ...

I was hoping Ibragimov would fight as he did against Whitaker. He impressed me that night.
