Is it just me, or is Wahid's resume aging quite well?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not for one second suggesting Tank is worthy of his p4p ranking, he absolutely isn't, however looking through his resume now, it's aging quite well imo:

Cruz (former belt holder and big step up)
Pedraza (current belt holder and top 5 rated)
    Walsh (top ten rated)
    Fonseca (mandatory)
    Cuellar (former belt holder)
    Ruiz (former belt holder)
    Nunez (mandatory)
    Gamboa (former belt holder)
    LSC (former belt holder)
    Barrios (future belt holder)
    Pitbull (future belt holder)
    Romero (future belt holder)
    Garcia (former belt holder)
    Garcia (top 5 rated)

Now this is far from an ATG resume, far from a p4p resume, but those recent wins which all looked like soft touches at the time, have aged quite well imo.

He has a decent list of names but is obviously missing those at the elite level such as Lomachenko and Stevenson, but those fights should be easy to make imo.

I dunno, I've been one of his fiercest critics, but I think all of his recent wins have proven to be better than I thought at the time Wahid fought them. Especially when Garcia chins Haney.

I learned he hasn't really fought any proven punchers and won. I don't know if it's true because Boxrec doesn't say that verbatim or nuttin.

Frank Martin is going to be a tough fight for Tank, I see him winning some rounds forcing Tank to pick up the pace and be the aggressor in the fight. Martin is a potential spoiler. And If Tank can win without controversy that will be his best win to date.

Tank has been surpassed by his younger peers as he stood on the sidelines avoiding active champions in the weightclass he campaigned in. Pitbull is his only good recent win and he barely scraped by that fight.

His resume sits side by side with that of Bud Crawford's.

I thought you misspelled Wlad. Which is common.

His resume is not ATG though he has beaten everyone-although I thought pitbull beat him. He needs to be busier as he is wasting his time getting in legal trouble. He has the talent but seemingly not the drive..

I don't see it luf. Only Cruz has been on a win run since Wahid beat him and many thought Wahid lost that fight. It's definitely not a resume I expected Wahid to have when he knocked out Pedraza at 23 years old. Now Wahid is middle-aged and probably past his prime.

    Wahid.

I saw that, Cruz should have won.

But even that looks better now as Cruz is proving himself at a high level when at the time he was just a cherry pick.

Quantity has a quality all its own is the right axiom for Davis' resume. Most of his opposition has been B level. He has defeated 9 world champions, 10 if Garcia wins against Haney next week. This more than some of his rivals from 135-140 pounds. Albeit half of them were paper champions.

I'm not entirely defending Davis. The dude still hasn't fought an elite level opponent.

I agree with this. The point I'm making is I wasn't even giving him this level of credit previously, I had them all as absolute cherry picks and soft touches.

He's in a division with Loma and Stevenson (again) so there's no reason for him to avoid fighting an elite opponent now.

At least Crawford fought a couple of weaker champions in the divisions he was in, gervonta is pulling up weak champs like hector Garcia and Leo Santa Cruz from other divisions. the wba is barely a real world title at this point.
