Is it just me that thinks that Gavin Reed doesn't apreciate his title.

I mean you could see how much Enzo Macceranelli loved being world champ. That along with other. Maybe its his personality. But he just comes across as this short little fat bloke thats become a world champ, and hasn't work that hard, or at least as hard as others to get there. He didn't make weight today, had to strip down, i go gym 3 times a week max and have got a better phyique than him.

I think he is a good fighter, but this could be his downfall tomorow night

 

Maybe because he knows he's not a real world champion?

 

Maybe it is because he only beat a joke of a champ to get his belt.

 

he just doesnt deserve to be world champ, he got there cos he has well known mates and a promoter with alot of clout

the guys the same height as naz but has just struggled to make lightwelterweight? thats what i call lack of dedication. i dunno, maybe theres a story behind it i'm not aware of.

I think he has so many critics that believe his win was a fluke when he won his title that he has a bit of needle about it. If Ree's wins on Saturday, he wants to take on Khan, which Khan wants because Ree's is the weakest of the champions, so it would be a SN fighter taking on a SN fighter, nothing like keeping it in the family....The title that is....

 

this stumpy little **** thinks hes going to beat hatton,witter and khan, iv only seen half of the mbaye fight and what i saw was rees throwing girly shots, he makes Paulie Malanagie look like a KO artist

 

The fact is that he's a world champion, or a beltholder anyway. Maybe for just one more day but you cannot take it away from him today.

 

Thats more a sad indictment of the politics within our sport.

 

I read an interview with him in Boxing News and he didn't seem to have a very good attitude. Didn't seem to have much of an interest in boxing or anything else. Of course that is only one interview and is not likely to capture what he is really like as a person, but his attitude did strike me as weird.

 

I think judement should be reserved until after tomorrow. There's no doubt Kotelnik is fit, motivated and a classy fighter so if Rees is gonna get found out it could be tomorrow. I think the fact that he's squat with short arms and doesn't look like an athlete detracts from the fitness that took him to the title. He didn't let up for the whole fight to be fair to him, only tomorrow he'll be up against someone who is willing to fight back unlike M'Baye.
