But when Monte Barrett knocked down David Haye..during the 4th round..if i recall correctly.

David Haye......seemed to be out of it totally, i found this alarming.

    Really alarming.

Did you miss the part where Barrett smashed Haye on the chin as he sat up?

That's probably why he was 'out of it'

Nah totally disagree, he seemed clear headed enough to talk and gesture to the
referee about the punch while he was on his knees, and he seemed to get up
and walk around clear headed seconds after, and then his response to knock out barrett after shows he wasnt buzzed that badly.

Nah, Monte had a free shot at Haye sitting down as well - Haye just made sure his head had cleared afterwards. It was probably a real KO, but more about balance rather then being dazed.

Barrett could have been disqualified for doing what he did - Jones v Griffiths springs to mind.

It was easy for Haye , Monte was awkward and not flowing, his legs were shaking , he just was too easy for Haye . I think that entrance spelled disaster for him lmao .

David Haye, hes simply a prime Herbie Hide reincarnated.

Like Hide, Haye is a talented boxer with fast hands & has real power. However, also like Hide, Haye has no chin, & cannot take full blooded shots. Haye couldnt take them in the amateurs, couldnt take them against a past his best Thompson & going down against an old Mormeck was pretty shocking.
Haye is good enough like Herbie Hide to win a version of the world title at heavyweight if he is matched correctly, just like Hide did when he beat Michael Bent. I could see Haye beating Valuev for instance.

However, when Haye meets big Vitali it will be like Bowe-Hide all over again.
& if Haye faces a genuine toughguy who can take a shot & keep the pressure on like a Sam Peter for instance, its game over for the Hayemaker.
Its as black & white as that really, Haye is just a slightly taller 21st century version of a prime Herbie Hide.

I thought he was gone, the expresion on his face and then he went to the ropes and took a knee. But the way he then blasted Barret out suggests he wasn't that badly hurt.

if nicky cook hit tyson when he was sitting down it would buzz him.

haye has admited it was a legitimate knock down but he was never in danger. the only time haye has really been in trouble from a **** was lolenga mock, mormeck put him down buthaye was cleaer and steady, and thompson was more down to stanima.

When Mormeck put him down as he was falling backwards he slipped on the advertising hoarding in the corner which was sticking out just inside the ring which made it look worse than it actually was
