Is it just possible that Louis would make today's giants look like oafs?

The thing with prime Louis is if he caught you with a hard left you were in deep, oaf or no oaf. He'd never let you off the hook. That's why I never completely rule him out. So could he? Yeah it's possible.

It's "possible"? Forgone conclusion is more like it. They do not make hwts today that have 10% of the skills of Louis.

Once Louis got inside Fury's jab it would all be over, left or right hook, both were dynamite.
Louis's right uppercut would probably be redundant against a fighter as tall as fury but who knows ????

If we did (and they wanted to fight like that, pit skill v skill, May the best man win and all that) then they would be forced into the lower divisions. Unless they become bodybuilders and lose all that skill in the process.

I think it's an absolute outrage that a tall 6'3" or even 6'5" guy weighing 220 who wants to box can technically be forced into the cruiserweight division.

24 hour weigh mean that very few fighters are in the right weight division. Where have all the 5'8" middleweights gone?

Heavyweight being the open class has pretty much started to represent only the extreme size boxer (specifically at championship level) since the lower weight guys need to be so much bigger on the night.

It's time we reclassified each weight class starting with cruiserweight. This is heavyweight, as it is in th Amateurs. If Superheavyweight is here to stay it needs to be officially classified as such.

    LetÂ’s put it this way.

A guy the size of Fury is never going to look good getting knocked out by a guy the size of Louis.

Also we have seen how the advocates of modern fighters, treat superheavyweights who commit the ultimate crime of getting knocked out by a smaller heavyweight.
