Is it me or are there lower weight fighters more likely to get permanent brain damage

That's exactly why they created the 24 hour window.

They accept fighters will seek every advantage possible so they try to make it as safe for them to do so as possible.

 

Completely understand that argument but I say do these weigh ins a few hours before the fight.

 

I hate it honestly. Id personally like to have Weigh ins two hours before the fighters step in the ring but that opens up another whole can of worms.
