    against Maidana? Before someone says, how could that be when Broner got floored twice and lost, I'm only referring to how Broner actually had Maidana ready to go in he late rounds, and was backing him up and hurting Maidana bad to the body, to whereas, Mayweather was never close to stopping Maidana, or even hurting him for that matter.

    In fact it's because of Broner's performance against Maidana, is why I thought Mayweather would stop Maidana, primarily if he went to the body hard and often. I'll be honest, I'm all over the place on Mayweather's performance, was it age, setting up a 2nd fight, Maidana doing better than most thought etc, thoughts.

    I would entertain your silly insult, but I'm sure if you saw me in person you would probably cross the street. Now do you want to talk boxing, or keep up your Internet tough guy act?

    If he did better he would have won. Broner was smothered and overwhelmed from start to finish and couldn't do anything to back Maidana off.

    @ValentinePrince

    You sound like a reasonable guy and I certainly know what you're saying about the diehard fans of both fighters, I witness it everytime on come on this website. But to talk boxing, I watched both fights, and what I'm really referring to is Broner had more success IN SPOTS than Mayweather did against Maidana and I believe when Maidana says Broner hit harder, I believe it, when you take into account Broner was floored twice by Maidana and still had the strength to comeback and nearly stop him, or at the very least drop Maidana in the later rounds, it speaks volumes to his heart and determination.

    Mayweather on the other hand put on one of his worst performances, I've ever seen and if you look at who was actually closer to stopping Maidana or even hurting him, I'd say it was Broner.

    I agree. There were moments when Broner was completely outclassing and out timing Maidana. Floyd never managed that, despite winning more rounds.

    That's a stretch. Funnily I think Maidana kinda schooled both Broner and Floyd. :lol:

    I disagree Mayweather was also swarmed for a good portion of the first half of the fight, and was not doing much to back Maidana up either, it wasn't until Maidana gassed a bit that Mayweather started having some success. You're right Broner never really adjusted, but he at least managed to force Maidana back and hurt him to the body late.
