Is It Me Or Is Dirrell The "Smallest" Of The Super Six?

What the hell?? I though he was HUGE comparing to everyone else.
I couldn't believe how Andre Ward was in higher division during amateurs.

Ward looks small but Dirrel looks bigger then all those guys.

I was gonna ask how he makes weight..

What made you think he is small??

I'm confused. Abraham is by far smallest. The guy is like 5.10.

When you mean big you talk about how think his shoulders and arms are??

Dirrell has a very strong body...Different fighters get power from different spots... Angles, leverage, and footing.... You obviously never had the privilege... :bbb:bbb:bbb

He's talking about musculature not height. By that standard, Abraham is bigger than Dirrell.

Are you ******ed? Dirrell is 6'2 and has even fought at cruiserweight. Dirrell is a natural SMW who can easily fight at LHW if he wanted to. If anything Abraham and Taylor are the smallest of the Super 6.

 

It happened only once that AA postponed the fight. Don't make up false statements.

 

dirrell has a huge upside if he can learn proper balance and footwork. i say this b/c he seems quick enough to fight in the pocket and still be elusive. he could have done this against froch instead of running and holding like he did but w/ his balance and footwork the way it is he is very vulnerable to a flash kd if he stays in the pocket. proper balance and footwork would also mean more pop on his shots. san rafael is also right that he could use some more core and leg strength. he's a lot of flash right now.

as far as size...i don't think he's that small. in fact i think he could fight at a higher weight as well if he really wanted to. ****, there was a minor event at the weigh in w/ froch b/c he came in over the weight. he's tall and has a pretty big frame.

Dirrell has skinny legs so his base seems to not be strong at times. He does sit down on his shots when he wants too though with Decent power also (or froch's chin is highly over-rated). As someone said above; People get thier power from different spots. Shoulders, back, or plain ol armstrength and thick bone structure. Some fighters put thier whole body into shots.
