Oh and didn't most of the above fight at lighthaevy as well? Heck, even Trinidad started at light welter.

Anyway your harping on this Lightheavy thing like your grabbin straws. their fighting catchweight of 170. I know RJJ and Trinidad would pitch thier upcoming fight for a chance to meet Floyd at 160 and Floyd would just love to have one more weight class on his wall.

 

By this rationale, Pac needs to go to 140 to fight Hatton, Hatton should go up to 154 and fight Spinks or Ouma, and Juan Marquez needs to quit fcking around and challenge Paul Williams. Mayweather going past 154 is crazy and doing anything past 160 is plain stupid. How tall is he? 5'8? At 170 he'd look like a smaller yet still chubby version of James Toney. Who is your favorite fighter and do you require that much of him to be considered an ATG? By the way, Trinidad did start at WW like you said and that's why he has 95% probablitity of being knocked out at 170 but i guess in your book thats what you gotta do to be considered an ATG.

 

see what I mean! Some people see and believe what they want even if it means denying history. None of the guys you mentioned above will go down as the GOAT or ATGs if they dont do something like what I mentioned above. Although, Manny did start out at 107.

Joe Gans is the GOAT in my mind but Floyd could possibly surpass all of them though I doubt he will even come close to trying
