I think this 24/7 series is great. Every series to date (i.e. Pac Cotto etc.) has been great, inlcuding this one.

Hate to say it but a big part of the reason why the show is bland is Shane Mosley. He's just boring. Pac and Cotto's show was interesting because it's always a form of entertainment to see Pac train, and who doesn't want to see a fat guy dive into a pool? Floyd hasn't been as entertaining as he was in the past (tossing cash into the camera was fun to watch). But at least his training sessions aren't a snooze fest. Overall, the current show hasn't been horrid. Some are just better than others, that's all. I'll watch any 24/7 show.

My gf absolutely hates boxing, but she is always amped for a fight that has a 24/7 show to it (she is more amped for this one than any other). Like Genaro G said, the 24/7 is more tailor made for the casual fan or just people who happen to have hbo and watched the show rather than someone who is a true fan of boxing.

I think a PBF-Pac 24/7 show would be epic. There is already bad blood between the two and I have no doubt that Floyd would get under Pacs skin, maybe even lure him into losing his temper a bit.

From the very first 24/7 (Oscar/Floyd), HBO developed a winning formula for the non-hardcore boxing fans, and have simply stuck with it since. Of course this has been to the slight detriment of us real fans, who have found later series repetitive and often tedious. But I doubt HBO will be too concerned about this, as they know we’ll purchase the mega-fights regardless. It’s the other casual fans they’re concerned about, and really focus their efforts on them. But I do agree with a previous poster, in that they would do well to emphasize the significance of fights, and touch up on the history of the two fighters.

I personally think the recent Showtime 360 episodes have exceeded HBO’s 24/7. However if you put the two shows next to each other and show them to a casual fan, I’m pretty certain the Hollywood bravado of 24/7 would catch their attention.

Problem is, they're putting stuff in that the casual fan just isnt interested in. Although unfortunate, nobody cares about Rogers diabete's problem, nor do they care about Floyd Sr's lung disease. That was already covered in the last 24/7. Why bring it up again?

I like it but I have been watching both these guys for 2 long to be shocked by anything.

If anything, I love this 24/7 for nazim. My favorite 24/7 character yet.

24/7 is a suckish show. It has been for a while. The first 2 were or so interesting. Then, they ran out of interesting things to show, and they only use the same fighters. They should be using a program like this to build new stars, instead of giving us dull footage of already established names.

The other option is to actually focus on the fight preparations, but only boxing enthusiasts would want to see that. 24/7 is for the people who like Jon and Kate.
