Is it not silly to want a fighter to lose because his fans are annoying/delusional?!

It's silly for everyone except for Joe Calzaghe.

    No it is not.

If I have no vested intrest in a fighter and do not have any feelings one way or the other about him, if he has annoying fans I do not see why I should feel bad about wanting them to lose.

No. I'm apathetic towards Bute himself, but I hate some of his fans with a vengeance. It will make my life better if Bute's fans have their dreams broken.

Probably if you're already not a supporter , any given fighters fans could put you over the edge as far as dislike is concerned.

i could agree with the hate on mayweather, because even if he doesn't have fans that are annoying and delusional. He alone is a reason to hate with all the bullocks he has done but as fighter i love mayweather. Simply a beauty to watch..

I"ve never really felt this way about fighters, but I have certainly had the feeling with fans of various sports teams, including ones that were from my home community. As a Chicagoan, I find that Cubs fans can be very annoying. Even though I am a fan of both chicago baseball teams, the Cubs crowd can often sway me to cheer for the other side.

Ive got to admit it would be nice to see Mayweather get knocked out and humbled the way Roy Jones Jr was. It would stop stop his fanatical fans from worshipping him like theyre brainwashed

I won't dislike a fighter that I like, or stop rooting for them, because he was annoying fans.

If I'm already indifferent about a fight or fighter, then maybe I'll root against them just so I can laugh at the fans when he loses.
