Exactly imagine ducking a cruiserweight with no balls and nine toes for a career high pay day. SHAME on Vitali

Haye is a 210-220# HW in his prime years.

He's also a prima donna that fights once a year and runs his mouth like a spoiled brat :| DH is getting "brave" b/c he want a big payday vs a well past prime 41+ y/o Vitali.

I actually think Haye has talent at HW but he needs to show it against some other top contenders. I'd to see him vs Arreola, Povetkin, Helenius, or even the other 2 big Brits, Fury or Price. I also think he loses most, if not all of the above matchups :p

That is such a ******ed point of view and shows a child like naivety and understanding of how boxing works.

Just for a start we should probably note that you can't actually pull out of a fight if there is no contract signed. You can withdraw from negotiations, but you can't pull out of a fight because if there is no signed contract then there is no fight to pull out of. You sit down at the negotiating table, see what's on offer and then decide if you want to sign a contract or not.

The main thing people wanted to see was Haye fight a Klitschko, so . . .

Haye received an offer from Vitali which was the typical contract they offer for voluntary defences, he also then receives an offer to fight Valuev for the WBA belt to set up unification fight with a Klitschko, for more money with far more favourable terms. So the options were to fight Vitali on a typical Klitschko contract, or go away and win a belt and make get yourself more bargaining power for better terms in a Klitschko fight. The end result was always to fight a Klitschko, it's just a matter of securing yourself the best deal for doing so - exactly what any other person would do in their professional life. What you're actually saying is Haye ducked Vitali by setting up a fight with his younger, faster, stronger, healthier and better younger brother?

Haye beat Valuev, fought his mandatory Ruiz and then signed to fight the actual HW champ (and better Klitschko) Wlad in a huge unification fight. If you class that as a duck then that's pretty funny.

Haye only mentioned Vitali once he mentioned retirement? Do you have amnesia?

As soon as Wlad had beaten Haye, Vitali started talking about how he also wanted to fight Haye and knock him out. Haye had just lost to his brother and Vitali was calling him out - he could have let Haye fade off into obscurity but no, he kept telling the media he would like to fight him.

Now, as much as Klittards would like to believe this is because Vitali is some angry monster, we know the real reason is because he knows Haye brings more money to the table than any other opponent at HW. Wlad got his career high payday fighting against Haye, and Vitali wants a nice slice of that pie for his retirement fund.

RTL (the channel that broadcasts K2 fights) have been pushing for a Vitali - Haye fight for ages, hosting polls on their website to gauge public interest and inviting Haye over to German to be at Klitschko fights and so some work for the channel. RTL invited Haye over to Germany to be ringside at the Vitali - Chisora fight and then gave him a press pass to the post fight conference to call out Vitali. This is where the Klitschko camp public stated that Haye should fight Chisora and the winner get's Vitali. Haye went away and beat Chisora in impressive fashion, and that's where we are today.

I'm not accusing any one of ducking, in fact I think the fight will happen next year. I just find it laughable some of the **** I read on here. Nowadays ducking basically means not signing whatever shitty contract is put in front of you. I might send Vitali a contract to fight me in my back garden for £5. I sure hope he signs it and doesn't duck me.

    Rematch clause..
Haye starts bitching about having to face Wlad, in case he beats Vitali.
And Turds will defend him without understanding what they're defending.
    Same ol'..

Haye could have already fought him twice but he chose the easier path both times.

Haye was banned by HBO after only one fight on the network :rofl

The same people on here that talk up Haye are talking up Fury and Price and we all know how awful both of them are.

Nobody wants to see Mr Excitement David Haye back peddle, throw 10 punches a round, flop on the ground, and lose 120-108 on all 3 scorecards. His fights with Valuex and Wlad were bad enough. No thanks.

    ill explain it clearer..

hayes fans and you (vitalis ducking haye)

me (you cannot call someone a ducker when they have already ducked that fighter)

    to some up.

you cannot duck someone who has already ducked you TWICE..

its like povotkin fans calling wlad a ducker if wlad was to go another direction in may/june

That was a decent post above. Haye actually has a big fan base in Germany. The fight would be huge , and there really isn't any other path for Vitali except retirment.

What part of my post that said 'I'm not accusing anyone of ducking' made you think I was accusing someone of ducking?

Haye is damaged goods. Lets recap the past few years: joke fight with Audley Harrison, got destroyed by Wlad, disgraced himself over Chisora incident, got banned by WBC, retired, unretired, fought opponent with 3 losses in the last 4 fights and now he somehow demands a title shot?
