This is a really tough question...I say its close between Roy and Manny. Wouldn't Mike be considered apart of the previous generation? How do you measure that?

Of course Tyson had more Power and Speed than practically any HW. Of course RJJ had INCREDIBLE speed, and athleticm. I'd agree that offensively they are probably more special than Pac.
Know what's different though? Pac actually has fought incredible competition, and has actually gotten better the bigger the guys he fought!!!
Jones had to move up against a guy like Ruiz, and also once he got a little ring age on him..He was DONE. Tyson didn't do as well against guys whom were much bigger (I'd definitely understand why with them grabbing him, and holding), and much like Jones..Once on the decline Tyson just fell off the mountain.
That is what seperates Pac, and Tyson/ Jones. He's fought better competition, he's beat much bigger guys than he is, and honestly if you want to account for ring age...Pac *SHOULD* have been old a long time ago. How the man went through wars with the likes or Morales, JMM, etc and still looks better than ever, and being a senator on top of it...You cannot help, but to be amazed by this man.

Yeah I'de give Jones the edge but Pac shouldn't be discretited for throwing so many puches. Thats just his style to overwelm you with sperts of volume punches from different angels.

The fact Pacquiao has used his offensive to destroy bigger men who also happen to be Hall of Fame fighters and having two power hands and the most angles in the sport offensively = Manny Pacquiao

RJJ by a mile. Manny's offense is impressive, but RJJ was devastating AND made it look effortless.

Where did he say that? The guy who landed the most effective punches is the better offensive fighter. The who landed that 500/800 punches could've landed 300 weak punches, while the guy with 400 landed 400/1000 effective power punches.

This topic is pretty subjective, IMO.

I'd rate Pac offense above mike; with RJJ it's close. They're both pretty dynamic , and amazing combination punchers.

    :deal

When it comes to it, for offense it should be something like...

Effective punches>punches landed>offensive ring generalship(including pressure from throwing punches/moving forward, cutting off the ring)

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7qPW_EYWNE&feature=related[/ame] @50 secs watch and see the combination Roy throws on Paz is one of the best combinations of all time and the 4 left hooks against Percy. Manny lets his hands go but Roy was a freak of nature.
