Is it possible for Crawford to emerge from tomorrow night with any credit?

Been thinking about this, and I don't think it is.

I see Crawford as in a complete lose lose situation.

No one will consider Brook as prime if he wins. And everyone will consider him exposed if he loses.

Can anyone think of a situation which sees Crawford getting credit for the victory?

I don't think he gets much credit for beating Brook.

Crawford was the only guy to thoroughly outbox Khan, he’ll be the first to do the same to Brook who gave Spence and GGG hell before being stopped. How much credit he’ll recieve for it, probably very little.

No, and he shouldn't. This is a named cherry pick while he pretends that no one will fight him because of promotional differences (coughShawnPortercoughcough) so he can crow about being p4p #1 (as if that filled anybody's pockets).

Win in dominant fashion (look better than Spence and Golovkin) and then for the love of god make a relevant fight. A legacy making group of fights are out there and if your promoter can't get them for you you need a new promoter.

So... Pacquiao gets KTFO by Marquez, schooled by Floyd, and mauled by Jeff Horn... yet came back and beat Thurman at 40. And Brook because he's lost to ONLY TWO people, who also happen to be Top P4P fighters, and that means he's now shot to bits at 34, when he's fighting a 33 year old? Boxing fans really confuse me.

If Brook shows up looking as sharp as ever, I think he’ll get credit if he deals with him well.

aside from having fragile face bones, kell brooke is still a good fighter. if crawford can outbox and stop him in spectacular fashion then he deserves full credit.

Yes he should get credit. It wouldn't be a great win but still a very good one. Brook isn't a bum.

Must've closed my eyes for a really long time, because Brook didn't give him hell in that fight
