    spanish surnames were handed out for tax purposes. very few people can actually attribute their surname to a spanish ancestor.:patsch

    lol my mothers family was this, my great grand father was that, blah blah blah. you and the other 50 million who always say this :roll:

    what your ass needs to understand is that genetic tests have already been conducted and it shows that 3.8% of filipinos have european blood. this automatically removes spain and americans as a significant contributer to filipino genes:patsch

    70 percent is actually too much. probably 30 or less imo. some pinoys that actually have chinese and malay blood looks mestizo (even though they have little or no spanish blood) probably cause of the combined genes. hence the misconcepcion
