It was the other way around, Dude. The Mexicans were the ones who governed the Philippines by authority of Spain because Mexico was also a colony of Spain then. But do you think those so called "Mexicans" were really Mexicans as in native Mexicans? I doubt it! The control of the government and business of a colony was never given to the colonized people but reserve only to the colonizers which was the very purpose of colonization. Nah, those so called "Mexicans" ruling the Philippines then were in reality, Spanish people who came from Spain and lived in Mexico.
Some of them might even born in Mexico but of Spanish parentage. They were residents of Mexico, hence, called "Mexicans". This was similar to the Philippines where the first people to be called "Filipinos" were the "Peninsulares" or Spanish born in the Iberian Peninsula and "Insulares" or Spanish born in the Philippines. The native Filipinos were called "Indios" and even the "creoles" were never called Filipinos during Spanish colonial times. It was only at the turn of the 20th century when the natives began to be called Filipinos.

It is actually well known. It was written in Philippine history books. However, those "Mexicans" who came to the Philippines as clergymen, soldiers, civil servants and merchants were actually Spaniards who were residents of Mexico.

Let's not go that far my friend. Let us not disrespect her mother just because her son is disrecpectful, assuming but not granting that Doby is disrespectful. After all, Doby perhaps for some reasons, was just not in the right state of mind at the moment.

it is obvious from his lack of manners and breeding that this guy learned the **** from the streets and not from a proper home.:D:rofl

Well, it's possible alright. However, your statement has a very bad implication.

We can't be sure about this my friend. If you're a Pinoy in heart, please let us respect his parents, especially his mother as any Pinoy would respect their elders.

It's possible for Void to cheat, but he appears to knock about it. Void vs. a flyweight next?
