If they're being asked to pay through the nose they may be questioning why they've backed this guy through all those lame comeback fights if they are now going to be priced out.
Could be possible that sky have back doored them and said off the record they’d be willing to pay x amount and produce x amount more buys?
In which case the exec who okayed their sizable investment in Fury without an ironclad contract will be feeling rather sorry for themselves. Yes I believe he's said that no boxing appears on sky unless through him. Kind of like no one gets to the kingdom of God except through Jesus...
Yes very much so. BT though have really messed this up. For them to put those other fights on PPV with no guarantee of the Wilder rematch just seems crazy. That shouldn't have been allowed to happen. It's not even like the other fights would have banked money for BT.
I don't think BT are paying Fury's purses anymore. He's a Top Rank fighter. I think the Top Rank deal that Fury signed, must have superseded anything that he had with BT.
Will Warren really care that much if it's on Sky? Hes a greedy twat so he will want the most money right?
Where does Warren getting a cut fit in to it? I’m not being pedantic by the way it’s a genuine question. Top Rank and PBC are the co promoters, MTK are the management team. Maybe Top Rank cut him a deal and said younger candidates amount for letting him fight in the US with us but surely they’re not paying him from the UK side too as that should be his prerogative to make money for the fight UK side.
Depends on how Frank is getting paid. If his contract means he picks up pay via BT then he won’t earn a penny potentially.
I think it's pretty much guaranteed that Frank gets 10% of Fury's overall purse. Just like like Frank still gets paid from Billy Joe because Billy had fights left on his contract.
Honest as the days long fury But that loyalty though Shat on Peter Shat on mick Shat on Ben Shat on the fans since fighting wilder What's a mere tv station
Oh fair enough. I still think he will be seething from what he will see as underhand tactics from sky.
Why? Clearly there is something in the contract that makes this a possibility so I dont really think he will. If anything having Warren on sky will be a bit of an invasion.
