He has great heart and almost instantaneous recovery (he knows what to do even when he is buzzed -he grabbed onto Mosley's hand so quickly Mosley couldn't throw another punch) but four or five flush hard shots connected in a row would, I have no doubt, put him down. If Mosley could hit Floyd as cleanly and frequently as he hit Margarito, Floyd would be quite literally dead.

I do think that if someone were to beat Floyd, it would be a Terry Norris one hit and KOed kind of thing, almost flukish. Lord knows he is a great defensive fighter. Pernell Whitaker had a better chin than Floyd, in my opinion, but his offense was much poorer.

The fact he's had 44 fights and pretty much been fighting at world level for the last decade and the only examples being used is Corley, he ended up walking him down and winning the round.. Hatton, a punch that never landed and knocked him off balance slightly, and Judah, another balance shot which didn't hurt him, and then there's Mosley, he took two monster shots off Mosley right on the button and did exactly what you teach a fighter to do, hold on, clear ya head and each time he has been hurt he has ended up walking his opposition down in the same round.

And people talk as if he's on his toes in every fight, he isn't and has took some decent shots off some very big hitters.

 

I have seen enough to believe, If you hit Floyd clean and hard enough, he could go out.
