without getting rid of the promoters and/or the sanctioning bodies? Are the promoters mainly responsible for keeping important fights from happening or putting on bad ones (Don King and John Ruiz)? Or is it the sanctioning bodies with their mandatories (Lockett/Pavlik) and corruption that keep the sport down? And if everyone agrees that a fight is terrible and a bad idea, then why does it get made anyways? And how did PPV come about? Were fighters fighting on network TV not getting the same or enough money fighting on network TV where they wanted it moved to PPV? Or was it someone else's idea? I'm just wondering who should receive the most blame and how to go about getting rid of the problems so the sport can grow in popularity and excitement.
