Don't like watching MMA, unless it's Kimbo and Lesnar.
Those are the only 2 guys worth watching IMO.

I like watching both. With MMA, I do like the "one title per weight class" and it makes a clear distinction of who "the man" is.

I thoroughly enjoy MMA, have attended many live events, and have caught most UFC's. Would I pay for a UFC? Probably not. Would I pay for boxing matches like Mayweather/Hatton, Pavlik/Taylor, etc? Yes. I prefer boxing but I prefer MMA over other sports like basketball, football, etc.

Only thing that annoys me is the "new wave" of MMA fans, who go out of their way to shyt all over boxing anytime it or MMA is brought up. They are corny as hell.

I like both. Originally I liked boxing a hell of a lot more, hence my posting on this site instead of sherdog or something, but then I got more and more into MMA.

I appreciate boxing, but a boring boxing match is nearly impossible for me to watch. I see fights like Mayweather-Baldomir or Taylor-Spinks and it just puts me to sleep.

I like MMA for it's realism. I like the idea of finding out who the best fighter is with the absolute fewest rules safely possible.

Also, to add a bit to KG's earlier point, I do so very much appreciate that the champions in each UFC weightclass are forced to fight the absolute best opponent out there for them for every defense. It's really something incredible.

Even the UFC is starting with this 'interim' champion BS though...

Well, in the last two instances it is understandable. Not that it isn't a slippery slope, but it is understandable at least.

Dana White said that he was making the winner of the Hughes-GSP fight for the "interim championship" so it could be a 5 round fight instead of a 3 round fight. The winner immediately gets a shot at Serra, the true champion, anyways, so there's no harm really done.

As for Sylvia-Nog, well, Randy Couture TECHNICALLY is still contracted to the UFC but he is refusing to fight. Dana didn't really have a choice but to have an interim champion with that situation (regardless of how you may feel about the Dana-Couture bickering.)

Yes cause they are different sure its fighting and theres hand to hand combat in both but they are different sports apples and oranges as one would say. Im a fight fan and enjoy the **** out of both but honestly I believe my hearts more in boxing Feb 16th I gotta pick to watch the free Elite XC card with Edson Berto vs Yves Edwards,Antonio Silva vs Ricco Rodriguez and Kimbo vs Tank or watch the PPV of Taylor-Pavlik 2 and ive decided to order boxing.

Well what do u mean ? Are u saying ground fighting is ok its just hard to watch when 2 guys are stalling on the ground and like u said basically holding each other ? Or do u mean u just dislike ground fighting in general ?

Thats because they are the only two you know, just like Mayweather is the only boxer you know./

You don't enjoy boxing or mma, you're just a fanboy cocksucker.
