No in the UK you cannot if i rember rightly your with West Ham Boys, you must have an assistant coaches qualification and basically the aba say you must not be an active boxer to have this qualification saying this alot of people ignore this rule so you would probably get away with it on clubshows but no championships

I do. I'm registered as a coach as well as a boxer, and as an official.

you ought to try to fight someone from west dallas boys club or oak cliff boxing club........both are straight up wicked
Levelland texas used to have a hell of a boys club that always would tear many big city boxing clubs up
george foreman's PABA is top notch too

The guy I fought from Galveston ended up getting near decapitated by a guy from Dallas/Fort Worth the next day, he could have been from one of those clubs.

I spent my teen and a good portion of my 20s in the oak cliff section of dallas which is rich in boxing clubs
the one I was a member of for about a year was home of champions, curtis cokes club, there was also reach for the stars, OCBC and the beckley gym
fort worth has produced more top tier pro fighters, partially because most dallas amatuers have a tendency to get themselves incarcerated
tomorrow I start working back in oak cliff(and having to make the 6 mile treck to and from the nearest train station on foot, which cant be bad for my wind or lower body stringth)
we have a rich am and pro boxing tradition here in the lone star state, from olympic level am ranks to some pretty decent straight to pro four round clubfighters(which is what Im trying to be)

Cool. It's the same where I'm from. Home of Sugar Ray Leonard; as well as a Silver Medalist on that 76 team who never turned pro. And many other good contenders and champions, as well as Gary Russell, this year's 119 pounder on the Olympic Team.

A quick call to your regional am boxing association can prob. tell you when and where the next level 1 coaching certification clinic is. A one day clinic and you are good to go.

Yes as long as you are certified to do so and you aren't working your corner for your own fight:patsch Actually in the amateurs only one guy has to be certified in a corner. Pro I think everyone has to have the proper credentials
