Is it possible Ward could become greater than Mayweather?

I don't think he's truly unified the titles until he rematches Froch for his IBF strap.

Absolutely not. Wardkke is the most boring fighter of the last 40 years. He has no power. None

Possible but he's got miles to go before he can surpass Floyd. If he can do what he did in the last three years for the next 5-6 years and become universally recognized as fighter of the decade (and the best fighter of his generation), he will have one-upped Floyd and can make a case of being greater than Floyd.

Well he has beat some really good fighters already maybe better than the top guys May has beat. If he gets the right promotion or if he sells himself the way May does, I'm sure people will start considering it.

I think when all is said and done Ward will be the better fighter. Floyd is a 5 weight world champ, but what is separating a lot of those weight classes, 5 pounds? Ward would have to jump 25 pounds for one weight class alone past LHW. Not only that, Floyd is still a naturally big fighter at 140 and 147 - he obviously was not at a size disadvantage moving up in those classes and won the Jr. Middle title from a natural 147 pounder. Also - Ward has shown the desire to fight the best in the world in their prime, unfortunately the same cannot be said for Floyd.

Good stuff. There's hardly any HOF prospects around his weight. Froch might be. He's not fighting ancient BHop. I used to think Dawson was a lock, but this might be a career altering loss he took. That's about it, no super prospects in sight.

On the other hand I could totally see him beat a second rate HW champ like Povetkin, or Ruiz earlier.

Kessler and Froch are nowhere near Hatton and Cotto let alone Corrales or Castillo.

Miranda and Allan Green vs Chavez and Famoso lol?

    168 Dawson vs 154lb DLH?

No. The level Floyd and PAC are on is pretty muc equal in terms of atg'nes. He already missed the train on taking Bute's O and there really isn't anyone out there who is a perceived threat, or even past it HOF guys like Oscar or Mosley for Ward to enhance his legacy with. Pascal wont cut it that's for sure
