Is it posssible to stop Juan Manuel Marquez?

    I mean It seems impossible to stop him I

    I Remember when Floyd put on that clinic against Marquez hitting him with that check left hook many times the same shot that knocked hatton out never even had a effect Floyd schooled him but never beat him up like Gatti marquez still had life in him to fight back even in the last round, i was impressed on how much punishment he took and ofcourse with his fights with Pacquiao it looked like he was impossible to stop.

    He is a really a tough cookie to crack and will go down as one of my favourites of this era.

    I gotta admit this guys determination and toughness are pretty amazing but still I don't think hes got a great chin

    If Mayweather had any power he would have stopped Marquez

    I mean the guy gets knocked down all day long so his chin certainly isn't granite

    but I think his recuperative abilities are great and toughness of course

    Yea I agree it more to do with his recuperative abilities and toughness the guy is tough as nails.

    Yeah Marquez for whatever reason flies under the radar from boxing forum trolls. Some boxers get wobbled in a fight (God forbid that happens in a boxing match) and pages upon pages of glass jaw talk, Marquez has been on his back many times and - crickets.

    Awesome fighter though. No disrespect to him, moreso directed at the silliness of boxing fans.

    I remember watching the Floyd fight thinking early this could be anther gatti but I quickly remembered Marques's fights with pac and his toughness and I thought to myself this will not be a stoppage or a bad beating to the point the fighter is not firing back. I was proven right Marquez was outclassed but he was firing back.

    Possible? Sure, he is just a man.

    Likely? Nope. The man has never been KO'd in his career, and he's fought some of the best in the business. Now that he's 40+, this likelihood increases however.

    I would say Matthysse/Ruslan are the 2 men that has the highest chance of stopping Marquez .

    Manny on the other hand will never stop Marquez .

    Matthysse vs Marquez would also be a great fight. I'd prefer it over the Ruslan fight tbh.
