Only a few days until Fury vs Wilder 3 and I can't remember for a long time a heavyweight fight of this magnitude having such little coverage or hype , attention whatever you want to call it, I find it all a bit bizarre , is it still on ffs!!!????? Wouldn't surprise me if they fight infront of the empty arena at this rate, for 2 of the top 3 or 4 in the division fighting ,this has been nothing but a shambles of a build up!!! It wouldn't surprise me if we hear anytime now the fight is off!!!
There’s no hype because it’s a difficult sell. Wilder will do very very well with his poor boxing ability to come off a 20 month lay-off at 36 and beat someone as skilled as Fury, it’s just not gonna happen.
Bt have been doing some brilliant work on YouTube for this fight. They are smashing the preview shows between boxing and ufc compared to sky and dazn.
Sounds like Fury is going to come in over 20 stone though , might be a mistake after so long out the ring! Hope not though , hopefully he can stream roll wilder and that will be the last we hear from Mr bomb squad!!
BT’s coverage and behind the scenes stuff is brilliant, particularly the UFC. Just wish they’d have better boxing cards on.
Get on BT YouTube or social media and you will see it. Not sure where else you expect it to be honest?
You sound like a bitter Matchroom fan. This fight has been promoted during Champions League matches. BT Sport are pushing this heavily on YouTube. Fox have been promoting this during their NFL games. This fight will have more traction across the UK and USA (combined) than AJ vs Usyk. AJ and Usyk don't have a profile in the United States.
The same was said about Joshua/Usyk. There's hype for it where I'm from. I guess if you're not interested in the fight you're not going to see or get involved in the build up to it.
Very excited about this fight and about Saturday in general. I'm going to Old Trafford to watch the mighty Saints take on Catalan Dragons in Grand Final. Then I'm whizzing over to Stockport to do a gig. Watching Smith vs Fowler on my phone right after it then heading home and staying up like an absolute muppet to watch Fury smash Wilder to pieces. Then I'm going to be knackered for about 4 days trying to recover from the dent in my much needed sleep.
I wasn’t bothered at all about it but now it’s here I’m quite looking forward to it. It’s the heavyweight championship at the end of the day.
It’s been a difficult sell given Fury to all observers won the first fight, won the second fight convincingly and only needs to avoid Wilder’s power shots to win on points at worst. The uncertainty over what happens next if Fury wins doesn’t help. That said, it’s still a heavyweight title fight involving two of the top five heavyweights in the world right now.
Sorry, this is nonsense. Went into my work office today, which is rare these days for me and everybody (mainly casuals) was talking about the fight and thinking about getting it. As others have said, BTs promotional work on YouTube is exceptional and they have been pushing it hard during the football.
BT Sport showed 8 games on Sunday all would of advertised the fight, they certainly did during that PSG game mid day. If you want to help promote the fight login to Facebook and tell your friends and ask them to re-post the fight details i.e fights/location, main event start time 5am (UK) who is showing the fight (BT) etc. (Eddie won't like this) especially the trending part. Its's Interesting that a TV company called Supersp*rt will be showing the fight across Africa (50 odd countries)
Is that on ppv or a normal channel? Asking for my local river boat service here in Africa as it has super sport.
