3 hours of Fury v Wilder build up programmes on BT Sports today Afternoon 12.15 BT Sports 2 Tonight 10.00 BT Sports 1 11.00 BT Sports 1
Well considering Wilder's management have no faith in him winning that fight and won't make it (even sacked one Manager for trying to arrange it) I very much doubt we would get to see it. I'm of opinion if Wilders management stepped in class from the low level opposition he would lose. As John Fury said, any half decent HW would have beaten Fury in their first fight considering the condition he was in.
Why is nobody talking about the Fury-Wilder 3 undercard? Two 50 50 heavyweight fights IMO. Kownacki's career is on the line.
Lou Dibella said it himself he was sacked after arranging Winkel, Haymon, Wilder and himself for a meeting with DAZN for the fight. Wilder's turned down what? 4 offers at the time of each was more thqn double than what Wilder has earned in purse. I can't think of a bigger duck in boxing history.
Well you could argue the first offer made to AJ was a huge duck and he ran away from Showtime to DAZN and updated his deal with sky to be exclusive even for overseas fights. Also before you start giving it the spiel about it wasnt a real offer Eddie Hearn, your messiah, confirmed it on an IFL interview after talks with Wilders team even said 'Its up to AJ but ther is more money for him if he fights Wilder in the US'. Then the spin stared happening. These are facts. Also how about the time they 'agreed a fight' but had Povetkin lined up instead? There are 2 sides to every coin and you can spin it whatever way you want, fact is we didnt get a really exciting fight, because of bull**** politics and boxing is lesser for it.
So you take an email from Wilder personal email address that sent $50m asserious? Despite Hearn asking him to reply with the T&Cs to which they refused to do so unless he accepts and has 24 hours to do so? Come on that weren't seriously and clearly PR attempt by PBC. The offer prior to Povetkin mandatory, which Hearn got an extension to so they can continue negotiations. Hearn stated to them to reply to Hearns emails weeks prior and WBA enforce the mandatory as it was approaching their granted extension. Again PBC failing to get back with their contrqct comments/ amendments of the offer and not replying to weeks of emails shows that weren't serious about making the fight.
What about Joshua saying he wouldn’t go to America to fight Wilder in the ring after the Parker fight?
Again I'm just using the words of your messiah. He literally said all that. Like I say its all bull**** and you can spin anything, like you do. The truth is always somewhere more in the middle.
