Is it really fight week?

No face off

No press conference

No media tour

No appearances that I'm aware of on things like talk shows or similar celebrity nonsense

So while the first 2 on my list will happen this week and as other posters have said they're doing a good job on BT outside of BT there's been close to nothing here in the UK anyway the lack of the rest has created the perception among some that Fury - Wilder may not be happening, personally I keep expecting to wake up one morning this week and see the news that the fight has been cancelled it just all feels so subdued and anti climatic even though I'm hoping and expecting things catch fire when they start doing public workouts, press conferences and interviews in the next few days.

 

They’re not gonna waste any extra effort promoting a fight which most people don’t see as being close. Their 2nd fight was hard to call and perfect for promoting, this one isn’t. The AJ rematch will be similar, it won’t be promoted that much because the outcome will be expected.

 

True but casuals generally don't analyse fights like we do on here they go purely on what they see and are told in the build up so some fake hate and hyperbole on major media platforms outside of BT would do wonders IMO for sales

 

Just seen the full card and it's very good. Even at the bottom end there's Robeisy Ramirez in a good step up and Edgar Berlanga fighting the Argentine fella who gave Saunders a hard nights work in LA 2 years ago.

 

Just skimmed the general, an incredible amount of yanks think Wilder is going to KO Fury this time round..

Yes it really is fight week with BT producing great content to generate interest in the fight.

 

The general forum is awful - full of morons and people who get far too emotionally invested. The British forum is much better.

Yep, turned down Joshua then went and fought Rivas in front of a half empty O2 on probably the worst PPV card in recent times.

The preview stuff on the BT YouTube page is top drawer.

 

I just clocked Fury's interview with Buncey but what's this I'm reading about Fury not looking fighting fit? He looks as fit as ever!
