Floyd is his own boss. GBP is not Floyd's promoter. He has no promoter.

Is it really needed to have GBP be involved in PAC vs Floyd fight?

    Vote in the poll.

    thats not the point.

no GBP doesnt have to be involved. but what if push comes to shove and floyd says he will only take it if GBP is involved. Arum knows this aswel.

Why cant the **** just go ahead and make the fight. Why's he always pissing on someone in the process.

    **** BOB ARUM

If Floyd is a free agent then why does Golden Boy need to be involved? Floyd has Haymon who is essentially a promoter and Ellerbe. Arum has the promoters license. What purpose then does GBP serve in this event? Carrying spit buckets?

Look if GBP gets involved, Floyd's cut gets smaller. If Floyd wants the biggest money to be made then he doesn't need GBP here.

GBP has no real use in this fight. Top Rank usually does great promotional job.

How do you know he would get a smaller cut? He is getting his highest paydays with GBP involved. If what you said was the case he wouldnt have left TR in the first place.

i would love to see how the floyd fans answers this.

on one side he claims he is his own boss and GBP doesn't have a contract with him. and on one side they would say floyd need GBP more than ever against arum to protect him from the crooked mobster.

floyd and arum can do business together not as promoter/fighter but as promoter/promoter. floyd get's more return with his investments and will not need to share it with GBP. :deal

I think Floyd doesn't need GBP here. He has Haymon, Ellerbe to help him in the fight negotiations.

GBP was involved in previous Floyd fights coz mainly he was fighting GBP boxers.

Why is GBP acting like they're Floyd's promoter?

He doesnt want the fight. and therefore it will never happen :deal. thats a shame because pac clearly wants it

That's a very valid assumption. If GBP is involved, of course they get paid. The money going to GBP will be added to Floyd's share and PAC's share instead.
