Realy, what is so bad about asking for the best testing there is to offer for a huge mega fight like Mayweather vs Pacquiao,or any fight?

I just dont see why Mayweather Jr is so crazy for asking his opponent's for this demand.

Every fighter in a mega fight has his demands.Manny and team know all about asking for demands,so why is it so bad that Floyd Jr is asking for this particular demand of OSDT.

Pacquiao wanted 10 mill$ penalty for every lb Mayweather comes in over the 147lb limit.Manny asked for certain gloves ect ect.

Mayweather Jr is currently asking for the bigger portion of the purse 60/40,because he feels that he is the bigger draw or sells more PPV.I realy dont think this will be the determining factor on whether the fight gets made or not. This is something that has been done many times and the money thing always gets worked out. They will both get the most $ they ever made before and both fighters know this, regardless of who gets the 60 and who gets the 40.

IMO the winner should get the 60,and the loser gets the 40 but thats not how the world today works...That's a whole nother story.

Manny believes that he lost to Morales in there first fight because of him taking a test to close to the fight, amongst other's i will not get into.

Come'on! Is this realy the reason,or is it just because Mayweather Jr is the one asking Manny for it.

It's not like Floyd Jr is asking Manny to do something he is not subjecting himself to.

So because of one fighters superstitions,we as the fans dont get to see this fight.

There going to have testing regardless,so whats so bad about the testing being random or the testing possibly being up untill the fight? It's a good chance that the testing will stop 20 or 10 days before the fight.Testing was stopped early for the Mayweather/Mosley fight.Mayweather just wants the testing to be random,so know one knows when they will be tested.

Personaly,i dont believe that whole Mayweather claiming to want to clean up the sport. But it's not only Manny that Floyd Jr is asking of this demand. He did it with Mosley, and will do it with any other fighter he fights untill he retires.

I understand that it's easy to dislike Floyd Jr or his team, but if you put that aside, how can someone side with Pacquiao on all of this?

I related early on my misgivings from my 'botched' experience with a blood draw. The Nevada State Athletic Commission has come to the same conclusion. It isn't the wisest of moves to go sticking needles in fighters arms too close to a bout. Is testing bad? No. Manny agreed to an unprecedented level of testing in fact. Just no blood testing from 21 days before the fight. Rumor says he has relented to 14 so Floyd moved the goal posts. This was never really about the tests and anyone that believes it was? I have prime 'lake front' property in Florida for cheap..... :yep

I love how guys like you seem to gloss over the fact that WADA/USADA are professionals and probably know these things. Probably many times more professional and with more medical experience than the NSAC. They even tested 18 days out for the Mayweather/Mosley fight.

Still, you guys seem to try to protect Manny while he attempts to make points based on BS superstition and unrelated "points".

Floyds a fool. He wants every edge over the opponent just so he can brag about it.

I can imagine him on ESPN and radio shows..

    "Well I'm gettin 60, he gettin 40"

A fight of this magnitude should be 50/50 and that's that. Floyd fans who try to justify that he deserves the bigger share by bringing up his PPV draws and figures need to hit reality and stop licking his ass. I actually wish Manny doesn't give him the fight because it's getting rediculous. This fight is clowding so many major events in other divisions.

For a sport he says he loves he is doing a great job of making it sound like a steroid infested **** hole. It's an attempt to make him look like he is the only clean fighter in the business.

He goes on TV saying "I'm clean, I fight clean.........blah blah......Shane took steroids"

It's bad for the sport. From a guy who says "Let's focus on the positive things" whenever he gets criticized, it's just ****ing stupid.

    It's called passing the buck.

Hey floyd, why aren't you taking any hard fights?

Because they are all on steroids.

Nothing is wrong with asking for OSDT, but what is wrong and stupid is acting like you're boxing savior, the golden child sent by God to clean up the sport. Anyone as smart as a ****ing dolphin knows what PBF's true intentions were with the drug testing demands.

Of course it's not a bad thing, except for those with something to HIDE.
Bottom line is; Whatever testing Manny is subjected to, Floyd will have to undergo the same testing. Floyd is not scared, Manny is terrified, even for a 40% split, the largest payout of his career.

The testing is good for boxing and boxing fans also since it ensures both boxers are on the same page and one has no unfair advantage over the other. Fans get to see a real fight between two chemically equal fighters and skill alone determines the winner. I guess that's the part that has Pac so afraid huh.

I know right? Jose Cansenco was also completely wrong about his sport of baseball too! He completely was trashing it by exposing that PEDs were rampant. I mean he had the nerve to claim that all time great Marc McGwire juiced. The nerve of him! He was totaly... Right!

and what difference would it make if the test will be right after the fight so that even pac would loose he would not be resoning the blood test?

I don't think the drug the floyd's team is claiming that pac uses will be gone overnight.

Crack head Jr hasn't pushed for the best testing. Horse racing has the best testing they test for all drugs including lignocain. It is not good enough for vegas to rule lignocain is illegal 7 days before a fight and then not test for it! Test for all drugs if Jr is real. We all know why this testing BS started ,jealously by the nut job Mayweather Family. Jr admitted he use lignocain during a fight in an interview.

Um, because you are British it doesn't make the sport or the surrounding controversy not exist now does it?

I am American. Your "football" goalie sucks a$$. That sport is called some BS for your kids to do on the weekend and, by the looks of it elsewhere in the world, drama majors. The football we watch is a man's sport. Does that magically now make your goalie not suck a$$? :rofl
