I don't agree i think Johnson gives him a good fight. Also he pulled out 3 times...so he must of known that Glen wasn't a soft touch. He's a better fighter then Lacy?? damn right he is!

Yeah but Sheika beat Simon Brown, then Beat Johnson, then got battered by Calzaghe. Maybe Glen gives him a good fight, but I don't think he wins at all.

I don't go for A beat B and B beat C so A beats C. I agree Joe probs would of won. But the way Drinker put's it as if Glenn's a **** journeyman. If he was Joe could of fought on with injuries?. Joe knows Glenn would of been a hard nights work.

Glenn is a hard nights work for anyone, but Joe comes out of top, in my opinion. if they ever were to fight...

by the way Sheika / Johnson was controversial, but thats not Calzaghes fault.

Johnson had good wins over the years (Tarver, Woods, not the worst version of Roy Jones) and had a lot of close losses. He's still been pushing the top guys in the LHW division to the limit in the last couple of years, and beat a good contender in Green. He beat Green better than Ward did, who is top of the division, if we're getting worried about that kind of stuff.

I'd rather discuss when Calzaghe in August/Sept 06, agreed to fight Johson, providing Johnson beat Woods in their 3rd fight.

The fight was live on ITV and Joe was ringside.

Why would Joe agree to this fight and turn up ringside if he was ducking Johnson?

Everyone seems to forget about this - or they were not aware of it.

    FUNNY THAT!

So what about the times he pulled out?...why pull out if Johnson's ****? He fought Lacy with damaged hand. Johnson's better then Lacy and no one can say Lacy was better. Cos Johnson ain't some hyped up yank who had a left hook. He one of the true grinders of the sport and Joe knows he would of had a hard nights work no doubts.

See Johnson's respected by the fighters and Froch has a fight on his hands he knows this and most fans do as well.

    Simple:

Everyone Says Froch seeks out the best and Calzaghe cherry-picked and fought 'bums'.

Without the super-six Froch would be fighting 'bums'.

Froch HAD to fight Pascal who was a nobody, who had fought no-one at 168. Now Froch is milking his wins at 175.

Nah, he could have gone down the WBO route :blurp
