Is it safe to say that Parker's resume is better than Joshua's resume?

The positive Parker can take from his win on Saturday, is he showed good movement and that he can box off the back foot. I'm convinced AJ will struggle with the first boxer who shows mobility against him. Name one of his opponents so far, who has shown good movement? AJ is spectacularly limited in terms of boxing and moving. In fact, he separates those two elements entirely: moves into range, sets his feet and only then starts to throw. He doesn't even step in with his jab. So far, its not been an issue because opponents have been in survival mode, often covering up on the ropes waiting for the bombardment. Parker wouldn't do this. So he's got the blueprint to be competitive...

True. One other positive is that he still had the heart to get the job done in a tough fight.

Still, it wasn't a good performance and Parker needs to take a rest and look at improving his game with his next fights.

How do you think him vs H. Fury goes? I think it's a decent next fight to take, he'll have to do better at coming inside and attacking Hughie if he wants to win. Even if he lost (which is possible though not probable imo), it would by no means be a damaging or career-ending defeat.

I can't work out H Fury. Loads in the trade rave about his boxing skills but each time I've watched him he's just seemed very vanilla to me. Has had health issues which genuinely affected his ability to train and fight, but he's clear of those now. I'll look out for his next fight with interest, but based on what I've seen so far, I would favour Parker...

Joshua and Parker are on a similar position to Golovkin and Canelo now. One has fought a few better opponets, but he's still the underdog because of the other's dominance and the eyetest.

Some bookies have Parker as a 10/1 underdog to beat AJ, which I actually think is a tad harsh but outlines the clear levels between these guys.

Your boy sucks bra.. I get it ... He'll do better against Joshua cos Joshua's bigger and Ruiz was too small and too fat to make him look good..lolololololololool

He showed once again he can win on the back foot but I don't think he showed that he's a particularly good mover. He struggles on the back foot hence why both times he's been forced backwards he's been taken the distance and only very narrowly beat Ruiz Jr.

While I agree Joshua struggles with movement, he is improving in regards to his own movement and Parker is not the fighter to test that current flaw in Joshua. He is not good enough on the back foot to outbox Joshua and it would be a tactical error to try and box the bigger man.

True AJ needs to have his feet set the punch, which is something he has yet to address and why he is also better on the front foot or stationary like Parker is. He tends not to step in with single jabs as he is looking to maintain range but he does step in with it when he's throwing the right hand behind it. He also has started stepping off to the side when jabbing to create angles, making him harder to get to.

For Parker to be competitive, he has to use his speed and beat Joshua to the punch, which he is fast enough to do. The danger for Parker in coming in will be Joshua's counter punches. The last thing Parker wants to do is box Joshua and use movement, he is not effective enough going backwards and he doesn't counter enough when moving backwards which will just allow Joshua to walk him down if he is forced to continually step back as Joshua will having little to fear coming back when he pushes forward.

Anyone can look good against Joshuas opponents. Joshua should fight Takam or Ruiz or even the four guys whos knocked him. Parker doesnt get knocked, we all know Joshua does.

At least he is looking good.
Parker can't even look good against Parker's opponents. I doubt Parker would beat Chisora tbh.
Look how he ran big Vatali all over the ring. Thats how you fight for a title.. Both Parker and Ruiz were embarrassments imo.
Ive seen tougher sparring sessions than that so called world title fight.

Ive seen plenty of 12 round title fights. Sounds like your new to boxing. Like I said, anybody can look good against Molina who? Martin who? Breazeale who?

So have I... And i can compare that fight to many , many other poor fights between two woeful competitors.
