Is it safe to say the Middle Weight Division is taking over after Manny/Floyd retire?

    Froch, Ward, Golovkin, Canelo (once he goes up), Lee, Quillin, etc...

    Also, it's kind of stupid that Cotto is on ESPN and the Ring as #1 Middleweight for Divisional Rankings. Why? Wtf? He'd be KO'ed by so many legitimate middleweights.

    Boxing rankings are weird. But excuse me, I digress. Middleweight division might become the hit division after the two welterweight superstars retire? I hope Golovkin takes over. We need more big drama shows to draw the casual fans back in.

    Every topic you make has something to do with Floyd/Pac, can't you discuss boxing without mentioning either of them?

    This thread is very, very minimally about them. I can replace May/Pac retire with "in the future" if you're that sensitive. Honestly, if you find them two as the subject of this thread than I don't even think you completely read the title. Try reading it from start to finish this time.

    somehow you always squeeze there names into it. I'm not really "sensitive" to it, I'm just wondering if you've ever created a thread that has nothing to do with them. The answer is probably no. Feel free to correct me. I give you props on staying here though, I would have bet money that you'd be gone after May 2nd.

    This thread is not about them. The new Golden Age of Boxing will begin after they retire, and Welterweight Division will reign as long as they're fighting. It's appropriate to mention- not redundant. However, they're still not the point of this thread.

    Honestly, if you find them two as the subject of this thread then I don't even think you completely read the title. Try reading it from start to finish this time.

    Why are you getting so fiesty. I never said they were the "subject", I was saying that no matter the topic, somehow Floyd and Pac's name show up somewhere thus making it partly about them. Try relaxing a bit. Deep breaths.

    butthurt about pac getting completely dismantled and schooled? I have to admit I was a bit butthurt, I am actually a pac fan after all. IT was sad mid-way when I saw that Pac couldn't even amke it competitive, it was so one-sided I actually started rooting for Pac to win some rounds, and I'm not being sarcastic.

    All you do is waste my time with a petty argument like this. If you want to talk about the SUBJECT of the thread, fine. If not, then please, don't bother commenting.

    To get on topic MW is definitely not the future weight class. I don't know where you got this idea from, even if Canelo moves up the only real Quality guys would be GGG/Canelo. WW has way more quality even without Pac/Floyd, LHW has more quality in betribiev/kovalev/stevenson, hell even jrfeather-feather trumps MW, Frampton/Rigo/Loma/Walters. I get that you're a casual and sort of new to boxing Buffy, but just because GGG fought today, and you were clearly impressed doesn't mean it's the future.

    If Ward moves up to LHW it will be best division IMO. There are Kovalev Stevenson, Beterbiyev add Ward to that its far better than MW.
