is it still considered a robbery if a valid kd isnt scored?

I dont know about that...I think MAB punched JMM out of frustration...he was getting schooled before getting the KD.

I actually score the round a 10-9 for MAB, had the KD been called and no point deduction...JMM was winning that round big before being dropped.

ahhhh i see. i think a 10-8 would have been prudent.

so had it been 10-8, mab would have won with you? any other round you could have given jmm but didnt?

the kd not being awarded is why juan won the fight, is that enough to be a robbery?

if it was scored a 10-8 rund for MAB then yea, he would of won in my card...But i just cant scored that a 10-8 for him, even tho the knockdwon was legit, JMM was really beating MAB big on that round...So i think a 10-9 round would of been the fairest way to score it

Actually, a 10-8 round in favor of Barrera and he still loses a Unanimous decision. The judges had it that wide.

hmmm i dont think he beat him enough to get a 10-9 out of it, he came on strong second half of round, but first half was very even.

i think 10-8 is fair imho

Those scores were fuking ridiculous...The fight was very very very close, and it is one of the toughest fight to score...a 10-8 round for Barrera would have won him the fight on my scorecard...but i scored that a 10-9 round.

I would have no problem with barrera being the wiiner, the fight was as close as a fight could get...In fact i think im gonna see that fight again...what a fight that was! :good

Ridiculous, yes, I agree. But you two are talking as if the scoring of that round is actually what the fight hinged on-I think its important to atleast add that no, that round made no impact on the outcome of the fight.

no i do see what you're saying.

what i am saying is, if that round was 10-8 for mab, and juan would have won, which he would. would it have been called a robbery?

that is the point im making. how much stock people put on a kd not being awarded. like in the ottke - reid fight, and mayorga - spinks.

actually what was more of a robbery was the 117-111 score cards
no wonder barrera had had enough of judges and refs at this point

Both of the Pac-JMM fights had KDs that weren't scored, in one form or another.
The first fight had a judge losing count of the KDs in round 1.
The second fight had a KD that was not awarded by the referee (with JMM falling into the ropes).
