Daniel or Danny Jacobs is 23 years old. His record is 20(17)-0-0.
He holds the NABF middleweight title & WBO NABO middleweight title.
The middle weight devision is not that deep right now.
I think with his lack of experance he has no sechuled 12 round fights and only 3 sechuled 10 round fights on his record. He can beat top 10 middleweights.

I definitely think so. He has the talent and the punching power. Only thing to really test is will and stamina.

I would love to see him and Fernando Guerrero get it on...I just doubt that either team will seek out the other. I imagine they will both look to step up their competition and maybe make a fight for one of the belts in the next year or so. But man I would love to watch these 2 get it on!

yes, it is time to step up now, a main event on fox sport net or a top 20 guy on the next golden boy hbo card or PPV card.

He did vs the awkward Smith looked very vunerable despite winning and took a step back. Hope he fights a better opponent next this fight did not prove anything we know he can hit.

Oh yeah. Middleweight's on the verge of becoming wide open since Martinez doesn't have too many fights left in the tank, and Jacobs has as good a chance as a number of other young guns of emerging as at least a top contender/beltholder.

Things are going to get really interesting at 160 over the next couple of years as guys like Jacobs, N'Jikam, Golovkin, and others make their moves.

True Pav moving up Sturm inactive and stripped Sylvester is in obscurity its time for a young gun to emerge Jacobs may be able to shine amongst the young pack in the new generation at the weight

I wasn't impressed at all with him when he fought Ishe Smith. Smith is feather fisted and buzzed him a couple times, and really exposed his lack of in-fighting.

Set him up with a few good sparring partners for a while, have him work on some things. I think he has been somewhat cursed by being too athletic, allowing him to beat far lesser boxers on athleticism alone. Go over the basics with him some more, lots of sparring and working on technique, and then throw him in with a solid gatekeeper.

Kid has the goods, right now he isn't ready for anything close to top comp.

Have him fight someone like Bronco McKart next. Solid fighter who won't get blown over easily, but he really needs to work on some things before he fights the best.

McKart recently pitched a shut out against a guy who is probably way better than Astorga. I like the idea of a Jacobs/McKart fight because ole Bronco still has enough left in the tank to force Jacobs to put in rounds, think, and make adjustments, and he is still double tough.
