To the HW division, YES...to WLAD ?.... HELL NO. Puncher's chance at this point.

I don't want to be hard on the guy and I'm obviously comparing him to the field, and what he is doing is incredible considering he started so late; but I just don't see it yet. But still something to admire. Most guys can't even learn to throw a proper punch when they start late. It's like trying to throw a baseball for the first time at 20; it doesn't look so pretty. His punching isn't so bad but its not "Sharp." You want to see sharp, there are other HWs to look at. But with Seth, his Size, Power, Strength, and Determination is pushing him past most of the field. It's the Will/Determination that a lot of fighters today seem to lack. Instead of playing it safe and caving in, Seth will fight to WIN. And that makes him dangerous.

But overall, if you want to see what a Skilled HW is like, just look to Wlad. Forget size, it's his skill level. Wlad is so sharp when he throws. So accurate. Every punch has a planned point to hit. He's experienced and he has an experienced trainer with him.

Seth has a lot of work ahead of him.

But anything is possible. A big puncher with determination can make things happen. I'm not saying his a young Foreman but no means, however; Young Foreman wasn't much on skill compared to the sharper HWs. But he made it work. But that's a rare case and I don't see Seth nearly on that level.

Hate to see two of my favs go at it, but Welliver has the workrate and endurance to take this. After tonights performance, Mithcell should look for Banks on the Wlad/Arreola undercard.

Welliver shoudl look for the winner of Adamke Chambers after he schools Zumbano Love next month.:deal

I wouldn't give him a punchers chance. He doesn't have devastating one punch power. He'll get his face jabbed off.

Mitchell is getting wrecked by the first decent boxer/puncher he meets. In particular, he's vulnerable to a straight right hand. As soon as Mitchell fights a boxer/puncher with solid power, he's done. Ten count.

Spoon has average power, and look at what he did to Mitchell in round one. If only Spoon has a little more discipline -- avoided sloppy, unnecessary trading -- he would have won.

Interesting negative comments about Seth who TKO'd Spoon easily in the 3rd round.
    Something's wrong here.

Seth is the Michigan State Kimbo Slice.....late jokes to the games Welliver was tabbed from birth to rule. Shannon Briggs tried to hire Chauncy Welliver to be a Miami street fighter 11 years ago when he was 17. He tried to make him into the Narive American Destroyer Of Miami. But then Shannon ran like a girl when the cops came to the 1st fight. It would have been a you tube sensation if Shannon was not a coward.

Get real. That fight was not easy for Mitchell. He was nearly knocked out and he knows it.

Mitchell is even more vulnerable than I thought.

I figured the fight would end within 3 rounds, because Chazz, who lacks major power and durability, would slug. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect Chazz to have Mitchell reeling helplessly, dazed, and on the verge of a KO in round one.

Mitchell cannot take a big punch, and he is a sucker for the right hand.

Don't be surprised if Mitchell gets rushed into a Klitschko fight ASAP. Best to cash out before someone knocks him off.

come on man... he just beat Chazz..... **** we (wlad) stopped using chaz as a sparring partners years ago. Wlad was killing him

IMO he is not ready. Why push him? Let him develop more

He's not getting any better. If Mitchell's people are smart, they'd rush him into a Klitschko fight immediately, while Mitchell still has some credibility. To wait much longer runs the risk of Seth being beaten, and the big fight going down the drain.
