Is it time to finally admit that Canelo is one of the best Mexican fighters of all time?

Because they don't sell fights like Canelo does. Usyk cleaned out the cruiserweight division so the only logical move was to heavy if he wanted the money.
Bud by himself isn't really a draw sadly enough but alot of that is his fault. So if he picks to fight a lesser champion it isn't going to sell.
You have to have tremendous drawing power to do that. And Bud or Spence do not have that. They have to have name fighters to draw interest.

 

Even before beating Plant I thought that it was pretty obvious Canelo was one of the best Mexican boxers ever, based on the way he's moved up in weight, who he's beaten it's not even up for debate. Haters will nit pick because that's what haters do but even someone like me who isn't a fan thinks he's already proven he's a great.

 

Why not? Compare Canelo's first 60 opponents to Chavez's first. Really no comparison honestly. Canelo would have little to no problem with the same level of opposition.
