First of all im a Martinez fan, so im not trying to bash on him but hes not getting any of the big fights (May, Pac, JCCjr etc) he looked really good on his fights with P.Williams and Pavlik but after thoese there hasnt been any big fights for him, just like the Klitschkos are dominating the HW division none of them are in the P4P list because theyre not really challenged and the level of oppositions is low. thoughts?

I currently have him #5 after Mayweather Pacquiao Marquez and Ward. I don't think he should be any lower than that.

He hasn't done anything to lose the status either.

Let's keep him there for a while.

A Chavez jr. fight will teel us where he really belongs.

Well he did perform at a high level to get there but honestly he does need to do more to keep the spot specially when the top guys keep taking tough fights as well.

My list is something like this.

    PBF
    JMM
    Pac
    Sergio
    Hopkins
    Donaire
    Ward
    ,,,,

Those are names looking for big fights so Sergio has got to secure big fights. Lets see how he looks in March and I will go from there.

Yes, lets punish him because fighters and their promoters are too scared to fight him.:think

Yes, but I never even had him at #3 PFP to begin with. He and Dibella use the "PFP #3" that Ring Magazine gave him as justification to fight Manny, Mayweather, Cotto, Chavez. He should have been thrown out of there long ago as others have been doing much more impressive work while he lives off that 5 mins of fame and has just become a whining, malcontent. The minute he is no longer gifted "PFP #3" dumb ranking is the minute he may finally shut up and just stick to fights in the division.

lets award both Klitschko brothers at #1 and #2 because they beat all the bums in the HW division?

fact is Martinez cant get big name facts to make him look good, im not questioning his skills... hes very entertaining to watch and can arguably beat #1 and #2 P4P fighters today but hes not given the chance.
