I have been with Sky for nearly twenty years, and apart from a few months a couple of years a go I have subscribed to Sky Sports for that time also. I was becoming increasingly frustrated with the level of the boxing output, so cancelled my subscription, however there has been a definite increase in quality over the past few months and so returned, and now we have the news about hem cutting the output again. I know it's 'fashionable' to criticise Boxnation, but I for one am very happy with what I get for less than a pint a week :yep The time has now come for me to seriously reconsider my subscription to Sky Sports; after Froch / Bute what is there to make it worth the additional £20.00 a month on my Sky bill? I don't follow football, and have no time for F1, and just feel that I'm funding them. Maybe we the viewer should vote with our feet and show Sky Sports just how unhappy we are with their attitude towards the sport we love? Opinions?.............
But they reducing quantity and replacing it with better quality boxing events, so dont get the big fuss.
No,give the new season a chance to see if the quality is there,in the new quality over quantity approach.
I get where you're coming from here though tbh. My flatmate and I are going to be taking out a package with Virgin for TV, internet and landline phone after pay day. The cost of the sports package has me wondering if it's worth it. Don't watch football much these days, and if there's a game on I want to see I can just watch it at my parents'. I'm considering just taking out a basic package but subscribing to BoxNation.
i watch football so im happy to pay 20 quid a month for football, although id prefer it if they had a boxing fight every week and not just every two. I would also like formula one to just **** right off, the amount they are paying for that must be ridiculous and the type of person into F1 doesnt really follow any over sport. sorry for the stereotype
