He obviously can box, but he rather impose his will on his oppenents, and drop them faster than the price of oil.

I honestly cant say, I guess will just have to wait and see. I dont think Vitali has as good of a chin of some may think, and against Peter it wasnt even tested properly. I'm sure Haye's speed and highly offensive arsenal, may give old Vitali some trouble, time will tell.

what chance do u give haye in this fight? I think Wlad opens as a 3:1 favorite or bigger....i give haye a slim puncher's chance at best. he cannot win on pts even in England imo.

Still high on your boy Valuev? :yep

His chin has been tested before, it just hasnt been tested in 4 years.
But if David Haye could box, he wouldnt have got KO'd like he did. David Haye cant box, whens the last time you seen him throw a jab or flurry?:patsch

Don't right off Haye stopping anybody.

You do know both Travis Walker and Raphael Butler had Vitali down in sparring right?

It's hard to say, I like to go by percents, I give Haye a 30% chance of beating Wlad, I still think his chin is a big problem and could be exposed against a big puncher like Wlad, who I think may take a chance and open up on him and to make a statement to the boxing public, who are very critcal of Wlad's safety first approach lately, and lackluster oppenents.

I still think Valuev could pose a threat to Wlad, his height and really good chin would keep Valuev in the fight the whole fight, which may get him yet another close decision.

I'm not trying to hear anything about any sparring partner. Walker just loss to Cris, & the Klits would embarrass Cris, so that method fails. And sparring isn't the real deal, look at what Spadaforra was able to do to PBF in sparring, now imagine if they really fought.:patsch

Thats true, I believe the Walker knockdown caused Vitali to buckle his knee on the way down, forcing him to pull out of the Rahman fight for good in November of 05. Didnt Butler floor him with a body shot?

Haye obviously throws jabs, maybe not enough of them, but throws them. Thats not talk about who can throw a flurry and who cant, when was the last time you seen Wlad put together anything more than a two punch combination? The guy's your typical two beat puncher, the jab and straight right are typically all he throws anymore.

I'm not saying Walker would beat Vitali am I? All I'm saying is Vitali can and has been put down.

Yep. Butler actually floored him the day before the Walker knockdown aswell.

Yes, Wlad is a robot, but even if Haye KO's him, Haye is never gonna be anything great. Every KO artist soon meets defeat, ala Tyson, and Haye is defeinetely no Tyson. My question is why would you jump on the bandwagon of a guy who's soon gonna be exposed himself?

incorrect. against orthodox fighters, he throws the lead left hook and hooks off his jab frequently. He also sweeps his right hand a bit now. he goes to the body when he needs to. he did it peter and thompson quite a bit who were both very durable guys. thompson neutralized his jab so wlad began throwing lead right hands and going to the body. he will mix it up only if he needs to.

I feel he's one more talented Heavyweights in the division, as well as very marketable fighter, because his mouth, looks, and his exciting fighting style.

Haye is no Tyson, but who is? Haye is trying damn hard to fight the best out there, the same cant be said for Wlad, who continues to choose guys that are either untested against top oppostion or are washed up beyond believe.

He may get exposed, but didnt Wlad back in 03 and 04? Instead of giving up the sport, he reinvented himself with the help Steward and became champ again in April of 06, which was almost exactly 2 years since his title lose to Brewster.
