Is it true that Manny Steward felt like McCallum was all wrong for Hearns?

I've heard it talked about before, that Manny never wanted to match up Hearns with McCallum because he felt like it was a bad matchup for Hearns. Is there any interviews from Manny actually stating this? It could be that they were from the same gym, and that was the only reason, but I've heard Manny did like the matchup. Just want to know if Manny said that or it was just an urban legend.
