Is it true Whyte isn't even sparring? He must have lost his mind.

Yeah, it was one of those moments, where it seemed like Helenius didn't realise how hurt Whyte was, Helenius just let him recover, didn't press the action at all. Dreadful fight as you mentioned.

I know sparring was planned as I was talking to Mark Tibbs re sparring partners back in late June. I’d be shocked if Xavier Miller has given him a camp without sparring. Povetkin has been doing rounds with Mahammadrasul Majidov in Russia and will be using Chisora and Allen when he arrives in the U.K.

My sources tell otherwise, his main sparring partner for Povetkin is Alen "Savage" Babić. He started to be main sparring partner since last fight against Wach. Babić has a good amateur background and he started having pro fights under Whyte's tutorage. They stopped sparring last week, but that's the normal thing. After Babić, there are few more sparring partners for easy sparring two weeks before a fight, and probably last week Whyte is not sparring, that is normal..

People are so desperate for Dillian Whyte to lose.

If he wins without sparring, that'll be even funnier. There's no way he's going to lose to the overrated Alexander Povetkin.

Not as funny as when he loses to 41 year old man who's a shadow of his former self.

Whyte knows he needs to land only one good punch to the head and the fight is over. And he landed these punches very early against Chisora in the second fight. Povetkin sadly won't be able to take them.

Either an early KO for Whyte or a late KO/decision for Povetkin. I think the first will happen. Still weird if Whyte puts it all on one card and doesn't go in sparrings with others. But who knows, new trainers can change quite a lot in fighters.

Don't need sparring to deal with a shot to pieces 40 year old who couldn't even give Hughie no offence Fury a tough fight.

If Whyte is the real deal then this fight should be a walk over

True, but Helenius has the momentum now and Whyte declined a lot. At least in Wach fight.

If Whyte thinks Povetkin has been getting good sparring and his training has been poor he'll pull out mark my words.

You honestly want a rematch here?
The first fight was pretty damn decisive. It´s not like Robert boi has made some sudden improvements. He has just put in good performances, relatively speaking.

My mate Kay Prospere is over there in camp with him at the moment. Text me Monday night saying he just watched Dillian do 12 rounds and he looks great. We’ve got a bet as I’m team Sasha and he’s obviously team whyte lol.
