Displaying your defense against club fighters and faded legends hardly makaes you the greatest defensive fighter ever :hi:

Hes great at back peddlin, arm grabbing and tugging, ducking below the waistline and hugging.

Where were his pull counters against pac? Fact pac did better counter punching than him in their fight.

    Great defense.? Sorry

But his kitty kat pawing scratchy swings looked cute..

Toney was better. He didn't have to run to make people miss. Also better at counterpunching off of his defensive maneuvers.

I guess PBF has been prime his whole career? You can never be real with yourself. A thread about defense and yet you can't even give the man his due, the true definition of a hater.:-(

I guess you've never seen a prime PBF? How many fights of PBF have you seen you ignorant fool or did you start watching PBF in 2013? Even still PBF held #48 to a career low output and made him look amateurish.

Toney was more flat footed and stationary this was also a big flaw in his defense.
He couldn't be better defensively or he wouldn't sound punch drunk. Toney got hit a hell of alot more than PBF did. His defense was good but it wasn't better the proof is in the pudding.:deal

I have seen a prime pbf, but the most recent IVIayweather seems to be the most memorable..

Ps. Pac still did better counter punching in their fight than floyd did in his career.

guys get punchy, it doesn't speak of their career though, Sweet pea is punchy , even floyds words seem kinda slower these days,

guys like toney whittaker and mayweather whilst they may have the best defense this also ensures they had longer careers and therefore more fights at the highest level and whilst they dont get hit as much as average they also have vast amounts of 12 round fights and this where the punches add up

so the proof isnt in the pudding in this regard.
