the last 12 months have been shocking for uk subscribers... this cotto/marg fight is the straw that broke the camels back though!

have sky totally given up on the sport now?

Sky have been really good for boxing over the last 18 months or so. For the first time in years they had an hour long weekly boxing show and usually a good domestic card every weekend, as well as most top American cards and Klitschko fights. They give plenty of air time to Nathan Cleverly, Ricky Burns, manage to resign Carl Froch after he split with Mick Hennessey as well as continuing to build the career of Amir Khan and others.

Not to mention hyping a British title fight of DeGale/Groves into mainstream news.

People say competition is a good thing, well not always. Competition comes along in the form of PrimeTime stealing Khan, Mayweather and Pacquiao fights to make them £17 ppvs and a certain Frank gets in a **** because he can't afford to pay his overpaid flops so he sets up his own channel, costing another £10 a month.

the way i view sky is boxing is a bonus, if theys top showing or show less and less cards (they havent BTW). id still have to keep them just for there football coverage, all the other stuff they show that i like to watch is a bonus

i work most weekends and dont really keep up to date with with the domestic fights anymore... but the odd fight that i do look forward to seems to go to a subscription channel or sold as a ppv

Sky still have deals with Hatton, Maloney and Hearns. Froch, Barker, Murray, Prizefighter, numerous British champs, Khan, some international cards will still appear. Ringside is also good.

Still hard for me to let go.

Well if you get rid before Christmas you are mad!

Khan on Sky Sports & Froch who is one of the most entertaining fighters in the world at the minute.

You would want to be off your head o get rid of it. Sky will see off Boxnation in time.

Sky, Boxnation, Channel Five and the option of topping up with the odd Primetime PPV - if there is a good fight - what is there to complain about? It has never been better. And definitely, I will keep my Sky Sports package - Froch and Khan are with Sky and there is a lot of good domestic fights out there to be made.

If you are only interested in big fights then I think Sky will deliver more than Boxnation in the next year

Sky isn't cheap, as you know. If you don't give a **** about anything other than boxing, it's a tough call I think as you're probably paying about 40 ridge or so just for that.

December is looking great, of course, and that is certainly worth a month's subs.

Recently they haven't been so good but one reason for that might be that someone under contract ****ed right off with his stable of fighters leaving them short for a little while.

They've scrapped PPVs (only until we all recover from the David Haye shambles) so that's good too.

If you only like big international cards, Sky have Khan - Peterson, Froch - Ward, Murray -Sturm all before the end of the year. That's pretty good

It's the company's shipping arm. It's where all the fighters arrive on the way to the many international matches Sky shows.
