No it wasn't a typo. I was asking if the people that rate him so highly, think he can step up in weight again.

If I had to gauge the levels, I'd probably go

    "Domestic, European, World, Elite"

he's above domestic as he'd beat any of the british title level fighters.
He's above European as he'd beat any of the European title level fighters
Then the world level fighters are guys fighting for the world titles, ranked top 10 in most/all of the governing bodies.
Then you have the Elite guys who are the Mayweather's and Sergio Martinez type fighters.

if you had to put burns into any of those groups. Surely, world class would be it?

IMO, top of domestic (he won't bother with European) the next step for Ricky is World, if he proves himself in world at lightweight, he IS a world class fighter.

Not yet though. He hasn't fought and challenged, Broner, De Marco or Vasquez.

    Has Broner?
Mind you,he did try to fight Gary Sykes.
Ricky's resume at LW as a champ is far better than Broner's at SFW,yet you're right on his dick.

Just to clarify... the fact that he wouldn't bother with a European title means that he's still below it? or are you disputing the need to mention European level? For me the fact that 70 million people live in the Uk and 740 million people live in europe makes it quite a significant step up.

Yes, he had a world title and defended it 8 times. Before fighting Froch he was ranked by some governing bodies to be the number 1 fighter on the planet, above Andre Ward even. A single loss to a 3 time world champion doesn't make you a domestic level fighter.

Apologies then, I thought you meant 135. I think it'll be a while before he hits 140, he's a big unit at 130 and 135 I'm not sure how much he'll lose when he's not the bigger guy in there at 140.
