That's rather frightening. Guys in the gym telling you stuff like that. What else, They look at each other in the changing room? A well rounded physique is often over looked anyway. You see many nowadays with disproportionately built areas and a lot of the time it looks gross -to the untrained eye they think it looks good, but from an athletic pov they are wrongly built. Skeletal frame is also a big determiner in Aesthetics, physiques however aren't always WYSIWYG. When I hear 'good body', I have to take into account: Who's talking?
Relentless, aesthetics are so subjective. When I look in the mirror and see my perfection it is but one biased view point. I've found that a lot of girls have no concept of actual fitness - I get more praise for my body when I am slightly out of shape than when I am in my best physical shape. Not that there is a huge difference, but I've noticed my girlfriends compliment my body more if I haven't worked out for a few days for some reason, and it always kind of disappoints me. Or they will praise a physique that I know is high in useless fat and has inutile abscesses in function.
no. i agree its ok if you want to balance it. if people say you just look like a pretty boy?. show them wrong in the ring. show them you can kick some butt
Yeh but Aramini see if from girls view point, they like the look of muscle, the like the look of size, probably triggers the old primitive thoughts of he would make them feel safe etc, you however are a 16 yr old boy with huge arms and monster calfs. However like u said girls dont generally know **** about actual fitness, ive seen big 100 kg boys and girls go **** hes huge, and i say yeh but wat could he do with it?? There are limits, and Relentless, self esteem improves greatly when you have an impressive physique, one that you are impressed with.
nah, I'm 29 years old. or are you saying I have the general look of a 16 year old boy with big arms and calves tacked on? hmmm.
I know what you mean, most girls seem to prefer bodybuilding physiques to something genuinely functional/powerful, e.g. olympic lifters, low body fat boxers etc.
Not entirely true girls like boxers with low body fat providing they have some decent all around muscle. Like a Diego Corrales in terms of muscle is nowhere near as impressive as say Zab Judah at lightweight.
I agree with you, I think at clubs, in actual clothes girls may be more impressed by the "bulk" of a bodybuilder, "blurry mass" as it may be. But when the shirt comes off, their head will turn to the lean machine boxer with the rippling sixpack, I guarantee it! BTW - Muscles are indicative of testosterone, that why on an unconscious level women are attracted to muscular men, same way guys like BIG TITS!
I think it's a little weird that people who claim to not care about looking good are checking out your body and complaining that it looks good. They're the weird ones.
I disagree that most girls like massive bodybuilder physiques. Most girls I know like a lean, musuclar body. One that's stremalined and undeniably masculine, but isn't huge and unwieldy. Someone like a young Holyfield.
He could have also meant large *****. I understand why you chose to ignore that option though. Ps. Relentless good looks are for ***gots.
