    I dunno, haha. I'm not that weĺl-versed on Dempsey beyond what your average fan knows. I was just thinking how Burt Bienstock is going to react seeing that. ☺

    Why do you think Benny Leonard said in "My Greatest Battles"
    "Jack Dempsey was the greatest heavyweight he would knock out Joe Louis
    in one round. Jack would be too aggressive for Joe"
    what is he seeing that you cant see ?
    Remember Leonard seen both these guys in their primes.
    He's basing his opinion on what he seen for real Not shoddy film with
    missing frame-rates
    C'mon Dempsey haters find one qualified expert along the lines of a
    Leonard or Arcel who does not attest to his greatness just one

    Remember keep in mind Those who can do and those who can't ad never could critique..
    A qualified expert not yourselves

    It may be that Jack Dempsey could match up well with Joe Louis in a bout,
    but no one knows for sure. Even if Dempsey could beat Louis, the latter had a far superior record.
